Tech & Startup Offices
Cabling, access control, WiFi hardware and meeting rooms for Perth tech offices — installed by licensed technicians, documented properly, and handed over to a team that knows exactly what to do with it.
Your team can configure anything with an IP address — what it can’t do is run certified cable through a tower ceiling or get a contractor pass for the risers. We do the layer under your stack: structured cabling, comms room, WiFi hardware mounted where the survey says, all tested and labelled so your engineers never have to trace a mystery cable.
Tech companies want door access that behaves like the rest of their tooling — API-accessible, mobile credentials, events you can pipe into your own systems. We install platforms with real integration surfaces, Gallagher and Inner Range among them, and hand over the admin access instead of guarding it.
Nothing burns engineering goodwill like a standup spent debugging the room. We build meeting and VC rooms around your chosen platform where joining is one action, cabling is hidden and permanent, and the room works the same way every time — boring, in the best sense.
Headcount doubles, pods reshuffle, half a floor becomes a whole one. We over-provision drops, document the patching, and handle desk moves and expansions as small fast jobs — so scaling the office is an ops ticket, not a construction project.
A technical client is a good client
Most trade contractors design for clients who’ll never open the admin console. Tech companies are the opposite — you’ll have the access controller’s API docs open before we’ve packed the van. So we work accordingly: platforms chosen partly for their integration surfaces, full admin credentials handed over rather than held hostage, port maps and patch schedules delivered as usable documents, and no markup-laden “management layer” between you and equipment you’re perfectly capable of running. Where you do want ongoing help — physical maintenance, desk-move labour, or end-user helpdesk through our managed-services partners — that’s available as a choice, not a condition.
Yes, and that split works well. We deliver the physical layer — cabling certified and documented, hardware racked and powered, WiFi access points placed off an actual survey — and hand over clean for your team to configure and run. No forced management contract on top.
Yes. UniFi is a common request from tech companies who want to self-manage, and it’s a reasonable fit for a lot of offices. Where your requirements outgrow it, we’ll say so and show the alternative — the recommendation follows the requirement, not a house brand.
The platforms we favour expose APIs and integration options, so access events and provisioning can connect to your own systems. What’s achievable depends on the platform and your stack — tell us what you want to automate and we’ll spec against it honestly rather than promise a universal yes.
With a plan of the new floor and a talk about the next two years of headcount. First fit-outs are where cheap cabling decisions get made that a scale-up pays for annually — drops, comms room and access control scoped for where you’re going are the difference. See our office fit-out page for how the program runs.
