Lobby & Concierge Security

Security that belongs in an A-grade lobby.

Entry CCTV, concierge systems, visitor management and speedstile integration for Perth office buildings — designed to control the ground floor and installed so the lobby still looks like the lobby.

Entry & lobby CCTV

Cameras covering entries, the lobby floor and lift lobbies — positioned for identification at doors and overview elsewhere, recorded to the building’s system with retention set to your policy.

Concierge desk systems

Monitors, door release, intercom answering and camera call-up brought together at the desk, so your concierge manages the ground floor from one position instead of three screens and a two-way radio.

Visitor management & after-hours entry

Visitor sign-in that suits how the building actually runs, and controlled after-hours entry — intercom to the concierge or a monitoring point, credential access for tenants, and an auditable record of who came in.

Speedstile & turnstile integration

We integrate access control with the building’s speedstiles or turnstiles — readers, fire-trip release and lane logic coordinated with the gate supplier, so credentials, lifts and lanes behave as one system.

Presentation matters

The lobby is the building’s first impression. The install has to respect that.

A camera hanging off surface-mounted conduit tells every prospective tenant something about how the building is run. In a lobby, how the system is installed matters almost as much as what it does: concealed cabling, flush mounts, devices aligned with the ceiling grid, penetrations sealed and painted, and nothing stuck to stone or joinery that a tradesperson wouldn’t want their name on.

We install to that standard because we work in occupied towers every week — inducted, after-hours where the work demands it, and gone without a trace each morning except for the equipment you asked for. We’re the team behind Great White Security, licensed (WA Security Licence 79960) and carrying $20M public liability, so the paperwork side of your contractor management is as tidy as the ceiling grid.

Common questions

Can you work in the lobby without disrupting tenants? +

Yes — that’s the assumption we plan around. Work that generates noise, dust or scaffold happens after hours, deliveries come through the dock rather than the front door, and the lobby is presentable every morning. We draft tenant notices for you before each stage.

Will cabling and devices be visible in an A-grade lobby? +

No. Presentation is part of the scope, not an extra. Cabling is concealed in ceilings, risers and joinery, devices are flush-mounted and colour-matched where finishes allow, and we coordinate with your builder or joiner on the concierge desk rather than surface-mounting boxes onto it.

Can lobby access tie into lift and tenancy access? +

It should. We design lobby credentials, speedstile lanes and lift floor access as one system on platforms such as Gallagher or Inner Range, so a single card or mobile credential takes a tenant from the front door to their floor — and stops everyone else at the stile.

What about doors on fire egress paths? +

Any access-controlled door or gate on an egress path must fail to a compliant state. We design that in from the start and coordinate the interface with our accredited fire partners so the security scope never puts the building’s compliance at risk.
